Seems pretty cool From what you were able to describe to me, there are some elements I would consider "modern" from my world, but the way your world operates is still a far cry from what I'm used to. We have "Chinatowns" in various places and that's just in the country I live in.
As for music in my world... Well. There are definitely a lot of genres that can be defined by era, vibe, instruments, culture, etc. Definitely more complex than I'm ready to type out.
